Master Finish Carpenter
If you know the difference between a plinth block and a plumbed post; and that a coping joint is not the local bar after a hard day on the job; and your joinery and hardware are tighter than your grandfather’s pants after Thanksgiving dinner...we’d like to talk with you about becoming one of our finish carpenters.
Great woodworking skills are important, but will only get you an interview. You’ll also need a solid work-ethic, an ability to listen and talk with our customers, and have a ‘white-glove’ standard of respect and care for our customers’ home and property. If your nickname is ‘Bubba’, please don’t apply.
If you’re interested, we'll need you to show up with a minimum of 5 years experience and the ability to pass a background check. You should have personal tools, but we’ll provide the heavier equipment when needed. Occasionally you may need to transport materials, so a truck is preferred. But at a minimum you'll need a valid driver's license and a vehicle to get to a job site. Pay rate is based on your overall experience and ability to contribute to the team. Our company is growing, so there will be opportunities to advance.
